The first time I powerlifted was in 1984 and 1985. I had no clue what gear was and did not powerlift again untill 2001. My first three lift meet was USAPL Northeast Regionals. I was hooked. I loved it. Since then I won The American Open 3 times, came in 3rd & 4th in 2003 & 2004 Mens Open Nationals, PA State Champ 4 times, Masters National Champ twice, IPF Masters World Champion in 2005...What a ride. I love it,

So that is the Power part to my website.  The MOST important thing in my life is my family.  On April 6 2007@10:59 PM Ethan James Kavarnos came into this world and forever changed mine (AND Carolyn's). Carolyn is my beautiful wife and the mother of Alexandra-19, sophmore at Hartwick College, Raymond-18 Senior, and Michael-14 8th grade and of course now Ethan James-Class of 2025.  You can see photos of Ethan Here.
